There are two groups participate in this game. Such as Vadaseri and Thenseri. Vadaseri group represents Kovalan at the same time Thenseri group represents Kannaki. The competition is  breakup the powerful horn which is made of the special strengthen tree. Each group has a unique horn to represents their group. They must follow the ritual rules and regulations to participate in this game. And the horn should be protect in a devoted manner. Vadaseri group try to break a Thenser's horn meanwhile Thenseri group try to break Vadaseri's horn. The group which is break the other group's horn will beconsidered as a winners. If anybody get victory the game will be continued until they attain their victory. Eventually the winners will perform dance and windup the game.
